SARAH KENDALL (AUSTRALIAN)

“TIME OUT COMEDY AWARD NOMINEE 2006”

“PERRIER AWARD NOMINEE 2004”

2007 sees Sarah heading off on a European Tour of her new show 'Attention Seeker'.

She debuted the show with a critically acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival throughout August last year followed by ten nights at London's Soho Theatre in October.

In 2004, Sarah returned from a sell-out run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, performed for a week at the Soho Theatre and then headed to the Edinburgh Festival.  She returned with a Perrier Award Nomination for her highly acclaimed show.     She followed this with appearances at the Brighton Comedy Festival and a performance at the Gielgud Theatre in the West End.

This show was the fourth solo show that Sarah had taken to Edinburgh. In 2003, she was one of only five acts selected by NBC to perform their Edinburgh Nights season in New York.   In 2002, Sarah was the only stand-up performer to win the Festival's prestigious Herald Angel Award

Such success typifies Sarah's success on the International circuit.   She has performed at the Hong Kong Fringe, the Adelaide Fringe, three times at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, at the Berlin and Stavanger Comedy Festivals, and in Los Angeles, Holland, South Africa, Singapore, New York and Belgium.

Having eschewed TV and radio appearances for years, Sarah has recently accepted guest appearances on The Comic Side of Seven Days (BBC 3) The World Stands Up (Paramount/ Comedy Central) The Glasshouse (ABCTV) Edinburgh and Beyond (Paramount) Four at the Store (Radio 4) and Parson's and Naylor's Pull Out Sections (Radio 2).  Sarah is currently developing a feature film for Big Talk Productions for Film 4.
